Good depending on ability
If the child using this is an average math student with good fine motor skills, it is a great app for honing quick response to basic math. I use it for special needs students whose fine motor skills and response time isnt as good. I really like the game and I like that it can be slowed down or made faster. For a special needs student tho, it would be great to have a simple addition or subtraction level where the bubbles never disappear so the student has as much time to catch up as they need. Even at the slowest speed, some of mine need more time and dont understand why the bubbles disappear. Because they feel pressure to go fast, they start joining bubbles together that add up to much too high a number for the fish to eat.
So, great game, Id love a separate version that just allows a student to add or subtract at their own speed with no pressure for time. After all, its the math skill that counts and not all students were created for this version.
Thanks.
